I just got the Windows 7 Home Edition to install on my macbook via bootcamp and it has come with two cd's, a 32 bit and 64 bit. Which one should I use for the windows installation?

All I'm doing on the windows portion would be playing some games on steam like counter strike source, maybe that new star wars the old republic when it comes out.

Well, the 64 bit allows you to fully utilize 4gb of RAM. And now that 64 bit is more popular, pretty much every program is compatible with 64 bit, and things seems snappier on 64 bit.

Ok. It says I will need to remove the Windows 7 dvd when the system reboots. Do I have to do this manually like by holding down the mouse click or will it eject the disc automatically?

When the machine restarts, hold the mouse / trackpad. You will boot back into W7 just so you know.

When back in W7, restart and hold Option during boot then choose Mac OS X side. Then you can go into the system preferences and change the startup disc to be Mac.

Ok while it was restarting I held down the mouse pad and ejected the Windows 7 disc, but it booted into Mac OS X. So i restarted the computer and held down Option, and got the hard drive for Windows which I chose, but it just went back to the screen it had when it was installing Windows 7, and said completing installtion, not going anywhere from there. How do I get it to work? it was supposed to boot into windows when I first rebooted.

Should I just do Windows XP?
