I just got the Windows 7 Home Edition to install on my macbook via bootcamp and it has come with two cd's, a 32 bit and 64 bit. Which one should I use for the windows installation?
All I'm doing on the windows portion would be playing some games on steam like counter strike source, maybe that new star wars the old republic when it comes out. |

Well, the 64 bit allows you to fully utilize 4gb of RAM. And now that 64 bit is more popular, pretty much every program is compatible with 64 bit, and things seems snappier on 64 bit.

When the machine restarts, hold the mouse / trackpad. You will boot back into W7 just so you know.
When back in W7, restart and hold Option during boot then choose Mac OS X side. Then you can go into the system preferences and change the startup disc to be Mac. |
