I think that the subwoffer is blown on my macbook pro mid 2010. it seems to rattle when i am listening to music. it doesnt do it when i am booting it. does apple care cover this

If you didn't do anything to damage it, then yes, it will be covered by your warranty. Make an appointment with the Genius bar and they'll schedule a repair.

I'm guessing he means the bass in music is making the speakers rattle around, probably just a loose screw but if you don't want to void the warranty definately take it to an apple store.

You will see from the following teardown guides, that they do have Subwoofers... or at least laptop versions of Subwoofers.
As those above have advised, take it to Apple to have it taken care of.
