Hi

My friend has a Macbook, the charger works fine on my MB but when plugged into his MB it doesn't power up (No green LED either) But if I put my charged battery into his MB then it powers up ok?

Any ideas please?

Cheers!

No, but even if it does/doesn't, with the battery not in place in his MB it should still work from the mains????

It wasn't a question.... I was suggesting that you try his battery in your MB.
The aim is to rule everything out, before sending your friend off to get his Mac repaired!
I could have said reset the SMC, calibrate the battery, and I could have asked if he's ever spilled anything on his Mac, blah blah blah, but just wanted to rule things out.
