Hi folks
i am new to the mac world, but my wife has had her ibook for 2.5 years or so. Only problem is whenever i touch it it seems to lock and i get the spinning wheel thingy. she uses it only for web access, email (web) and word processing. any suggestions? it seems to happen only on safari-ditched explorer recently. I got my ibook g4 a few months ago and have no problems, so is suspect the issue is her unit, not ststic in my body etc thanks in advance!!! PL |

I have jaguar also (10.2) and I thought it was actually pretty fast, then I had the chance to try Panther on my 800mhz g3 and it's sooo much faster. I'd give that a try if it's feasible. I'm still waiting to try Tiger, but I'm actually trying to save money since school is coming up.
