buying a new mac duo 2 or i5

looking at buying a 15 inch MBP i see that the core duo and the i5 are 100 dollars difference the duo 2 is running at 2.66 GHz and the i5 is at 2.4GHz I've heard that the i5 processor is faster than the duo 2 even though the duo has a higher frequency is this true? all other specs are the same 4 gb memory 320 HD |
