Why does my wireless internet suck with my macbook pro?

I dont understand why my internet is so slow on my 2010 macbook pro its absolutely insane. I can play xbox 360 online with no problems at all but my laptop can barely surf the web? I have used a windows laptop in the same exact spot and it is fast. Its just the macbook. Any one know why or a fix? It's so frustrating!

Apple - Support - Discussions - MacBook Pro Slow Internet Over Ethernet? ...

Not the same thing, but something to check out.

Also run Apple Hardware Test to see if the wifi card is still running ok.
