Old PC mouse w/macbook pro

Are there any concerns I should have plugging my old PC's USB mouse into my new macbook pro? Will it work?

If it is just a standard USB mouse without any fancy features then it should work no problem. On the other hand if it's a mouse with fancy features then those features will most likely need software(drivers) to make it work fully. All the basic mouse functions such as movement and mouse clicks should work without any software though.

Just plug it in and you will find out if it works. Your Mac won't blow up.

USB mouses are plug and play so your Mac should recognize it almost instantly.
