hi, im new here. my white macbook battery got pregnant (it ballooned) and im looking for a replacement battery. i checked with authorized mac dealers, and they sell them for eu149. at ebay, the prices range from eu35-50. my question is:
1. are the ebay ones ok? i dont really use the battery much, as the macbook is too heavy to bring around with me, so i have it connected to the power source without the battery.
2. can any i use any macbook battery that specifies its for the white macbook, or do i have to get a specific one for my macbook?
i cant seem to find the model number. thanks.

your model number can be found by selecting menu > About this mac then selecting more info
then go to
