Did Apple EVER get them right? I know that some of the LBs continued to fail after being replaced. To me it seems that Apple just supplied NOS LBs to put back into the 'books. In essense, it seems like they'd keep failing if that was the case--and it does seem to be. Anyone care to guess how many "redesigned LBs" Apple's been through? I know I heard of people having problems with some of the G4 Books as well. I want to know because I plan on selling my iBook and I don't want someone being stuck with a faulty computer after a very short period of time, if indeed it does fail again. Once I sell it, I'm going to do what I should have done from the get-go, that is, buy a refurb from Apple for 800.00.
QUOTE Thanks
