I have a MBP I bought ealrier this year, I will be getting the new MBA. I use the time capsule to back my information up. Will I just be able to open Time Machine on the new MBA and get all my music and pictures that way?

Or should I just copy/paste everything onto a EX-HD then plug into new MBA and do it that way?

thanks

You can get all of your files through your time machine backups. Thats how I normally do it when friends want a movie or some songs that I have backed up on my TimeMachine.

Thanks Mike. I'll just select that option when you turn on the Mac for the first time set-up. Thinking about the 11.6" with 128GB with 4GB RAM
