I messed up and forgot to purchase applecare before my year warranty was up.
I missed it by a week

Anyone know of any options I might have to get coverage for the next couple of years. Apple are saying they cant do anything...

Does anyone know of any other companies that offer similar protection?

Or is it cross your fingers time?

Lots of possibilities...just do a "Google" search for "computer warranties"...you'll get lots of choices.

As to your next question..."How good or trustworthy are they?"...who knows.
