OK so I just bought an adapter to go from the video output on the macbook to DVI, then a DVI to HDMI cable to go to the tv.

When I plug everything in and turn it on the correct HDMI input on the tv...I get the snow leopard background...and nothing else. This is not my desktop background...very weird.

I think it's something with the resolution or something. When I drag a window off my desktop to the right it somehow appears on the tv.

Can anyone help with what I'm doing wrong here?

I have the audio handled with the headphone to L and R stereo cables.
QUOTE Thanks
