No matter what I do, my MacBook always reverts to an Apple home page. I follow the settings to reset the home page, it asks me if I want to change it (to my choice of Google) and I say yes. All is fine until I shut down and restart - then I am back on the Apple home page again. Can anyone tell me how to force this change?

Firstly...I'm assuming you're talking about Safari or another internet browser...since you never mentioned it.

To change the home page of your internet browser (Safari in this case)...go to the:

- "Safari" drop down menu
- select "preferences"
- click on the "general" tab
- look down the window, and where it says "Home Page:" type in the address of the home page you would like.

HTH,
