I'm having three problems with my mac book and I'm not sure if they're related.

Problem 1) While streaming the video stutters every 30 sec to a min. It last less than a second but it's still frustrating. It just catches and then keeps going.

Problem 2) Like the first problem my firefox is doing the same thing. Whether its while i'm on facebook or this site. I'll try to scroll the screen or click on something and sometimes its fine and other times it lags.

Problem 3) My computer's fan or hard drive or cd player seems to rev up like its getting ready to take off. I've gotten a battery temp program and It doesn't seem to be over heating, but its definitely revving up.

As for a timeline for how long this has been going on for:

Problem 1) about 2 months
Problem 2) a couple of weeks
Problem 3) about 3 or 4 months

Anyone have any suggestions?

Run the Apple Hardware Test on your MacBook. Also run Disk Utility Verify and Repair on the hard drive by using your install DVD. This Apple KB article tells how.
