    Anyone know of an affordable Mac laptop with good specs for doing Photography?

    Depends on what you consider "affordable".

    To Warren Buffet (one of the world's most wealthy persons)...anything is affordable! To a homeless person...no computer may be "affordable". So you really need to better define what "affordable" means to you.

    And you need to better define what you mean by "good specs for doing photography". What specific tasks do you do relating to photography & what specific software applications do you use?

    Well, affordable I guess would be about 1,000 and below. I'd want a macbook or macbook pro and probably at least 4 gig of ram. I would be using Photoshop to edit large images

    Can we safely assume that the 13" Macbook Pro Unibody in your profile is the current computer you use for these tasks...and it is too slow? If so, what is it's processor speed, graphics hardware, and amount of ram?
