Macbook "places" name help

Hi

New to macs and i have set mine up, starting to get to grips with everything etc but i've got a little issue that is really annoying. when you click "go" in finder, then computer, under the places heading the title of my "home" folder is my email address and i really don't want it to be but cant figure out how to change it any advice appreciated
