Hi

Don't mean to sound dumb here but I've never used my Macbook for WI FI in a commercial outlet before until recently, and when given the code had no idea how to connect to the internet. What must i do with airport and the code to connect ?

Click on this icon in the menu bar.

If it's not there, head for System Preferences - Network and put a check mark in 'Show AirPort status in menu bar".

Once you click on it, you'll be presented with a list of the available wireless networks. Select the one you want, put the password in the box that pops up.

I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus.
QUOTE Thanks
