    Weird iTunes Home Share
Hello everybody. I am staying at a hotel with free wifi and opened up my itunes library (iTunes 10). I am picking up another guests library under the shared section. I can see everything in their library but there's no import button or anything. Im not looking to jack their music I just want to make sure they cant jack mine. Should I be worried? Oh and I turned off my home share and I can still see their library.

I just noticed I am also seeing two macbooks under the share section in finder. I can see their files, how can I make sure they cant access mine.

The iTunes Home Sharing features only streams music to others. If they wanted to "jack" your music, they'd have to stream the music and then run a program to record the music being played to a local file. This will be of lower quality and will also record any other sounds that the computer generates..

    Regards
