How do I get audio to my tv from my macbook pro?

I've recently purchased the new "moshi mini display to hdmi" adapter which supports audio as well but i guess since my mbp is the mid 2009 edition. the is no audio out support through the mini display port.

I'm happy with the resolution and the video shows up fine but now i'm wondering how to get audio...

I want to use audio because i plan to plug my computer into my tv to stream netflix among other things.
QUOTE Thanks

3.5mm audio out to RCA
Something like this to your stereo.
3.5mm stereo to 2 RCA cable 1.5m

see this for all your options.
