Mac Specs: Back to my old 2.2GHz C2D MB after selling my MBP and wondering what my next Mac will be :)

... but, I have to take back my first response as I thought you were asking about the 2007 Santa Rosa MB, which had plastic.
I don't know about the Santa Rosa MBP's.
The new MBPs definitely do have glass displays though.

So that means if I ordered a replacement LCD panel for my Santa Rosa MBP,
more than likely it would come as glossy plastic, correct?

Give these guys a call and ask - they have an 800 number: iFixit: The free repair manual

They're Mac specialists and stock most replacement LCD panels. They can also quote you a price.
