Hi everyone, I'm fairly new to mac's (long time pc user 25 years). I really like my mac but one thing that drives me crazy is I keep zooming (making the icons or text bigger or smaller). Is there anyway to disable this?

TIA

Dave

You must be accidentally doing the pinch finger gesture on your trackpad. To turn it off go into system preferences under trackpad and uncheck that feature or you can learn not to make that gesture when you are browsing the internet. I've never accidentally done it myself.

I do the same thing all the time too. I hate it, but I want the functionality of zooming in quickly when I want to, which is stopping me from turning the feature off. I learned to live with it.
