I have a $100 cert to Amazon. Add that in with no tax from Amazon, I'm saving a good deal of money. The price right now would be $1960. I can get a student discount and free ipod (don't need it) right now, but with tax, it would be a better deal through Amazon. Any reservations about ordering on line through Amazon?

Should be none. Amazon is a reputable reseller of many name brand computers, appliances, and so forth. Just keep in mind that your warranty will be with Apple not Amazon. I believe you can also buy Apple care from Amazon.

Yes, as I stated above. Your warranty is with Apple not Amazon.

Just be careful to compare pricing with Apple. There are quite a few unscrupulous sellers on Amazon selling previous models as new and/or selling them at $500-$1000 higher than Apple.

If you're buying one sold by Amazon and not some 3rd party, you should be safe enough.

I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
