My powerbook has a bad slot in the computer, and it will not recongize my memory in that slot.
The guy at apple said I have to send it in, but If i bring it to the apple store I remember somebody told me I will get a loaner computer. Is this true, or were they just making stuff up?

I don't think you get a loaner. I have had my powerbook sent out and there was no loander
