i just got a combo drive to replace my dvd drive in my Ti-500mhz. should i have gotten the bracket from the laptop the combo drive came out of or can i somehow use something from mine? i used the pbfixit.com to take it all apart and all but it has nothing about upgrading the drive and what is to be done to re-install it.
