I have a question, does the LED-backlight display on my MBP 2010 can get burned like an LCD, I mean, you know when you are not using a screensaver or if you have a satic image for a long time (as the menu bar for example)...can the image get imprint on the screen??

thanks

Today's screens are not nearly as susceptible to screen burn as they were in the early days. My now 44 month old MBP has yet to show any signs of image burn from the menu bar.

I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.

The only difference between todays LED and classic LCD is that LED screens don't loose brightness over time. Or they shouldn't at least ... ask me in a few years if my screen is still so bright, that is of course if I don't go blind first
