Hi, my macbook recently developed the following problems:

-sends spam emails from my yahoo account
-safari and firefox suddenly shut down
-processes slowly
-quickly gets hot

I've tried running Iantivirus, Mcafee, and Macscan - didn't find anything.

Any idea whats wrong and what I should do next?

Thanks,
Mike

Change your Yahoo email account password to a strong one. You might even want to shut that account down and start a new one. A "BOT" is probably using your account after it was compromised.

Regards.

There aren't any viruses on Macs.
