Early MBP won't discover bluetooth kybrd

I'm trying to setup the A1314 bluetooth keyboard I received with my iMac for use with my very early MBP (MacBook Pro).

The MBP will "discover" the kybrd after only after many, many, many re-tries. Once it does discover the kybrd it will not pair up.

As info, the kybrd works fine on the iMac. My MBP bluetooth syncs up fine with the iMac and mouse.

Any ideas?

Did you try UnPairing it from the iMac first? I had to do that very thing last night to get it working with another Mac of mine.

Made sure that was done... Now it finds the kybrd and I'm able to enter the passkey but once the key is entered I receive "The pairing attempt was unsuccessful. Make sure your keyboard is in range of this coomputer, turned on and "discoverable." When ready, click Continue to try again."

The green led on the keyboard is flashing as it's communicated with.

humm... turned bluetooth mouse off and now the keyboard pairing works?????? I'll re-pair the mouse...

So.. yes... keyboard is working now... thanks..
