i recently got a macbook pro, the 2.66GHz one, and i have a possible problem with it. when i pick it up it makes a clicking sound, i think it comes from the bottom right corner of it. it happens almost every time i move it.

i was just wondering if i should get it checked out or just ignore it. thanks!

Is it a click or a beep? Mine beeps quickly. It's from the Sudden Motion Sensor. I believe you can disable it, though I'm not sure how.

If it is indeed the SMS, then you have no reason to get it checked out.

Yup. Mine clicks too when I lift it up or down. Just thought it was weird to do that.

im pretty sure its a click, it doesnt really even have to be a "sudden" movement, just picking it up slowly may cause the sound

It sounds like it's the hard drive, but not a fault, just that things are pretty tightly packed in there, and moving it like this may be causing it to "wobble" a little.
I would only worry if it starts clicking when static.
