Oh dear,
I don't know whether this has anything to do with the fact that I have just installed some RAM or whether it is due to when i tried to drag a file from the Finder into a Flash drive the computer hung, I tried to Force Quit the Finder and it disappeared, leaving the menu bar at the top blue with nothing on the desktop. The Force Quit and Shut Down Menus still come up but won't do anything, I assume because the Finder is no longer recognised. I am now resorting to waitng for the battery to run out to shut itself down. Should I whip the battery out to speed up the process? Anybody any idea what's going on. The RAM is Danelec - I was assured by the Apple reseller that I got it from that there have been no probs and it has worked one time after installation without any problems. Any help much app J |
