My macbook Pro doesn't recognize the USB cam when I connect it. I thought it would be automatic but no dice. I don't know where to look to see what might be going on. I want to use iMovie an use this cam, but it only show the built in camera. I have tried both USB ports but no difference. How do I get it to work? Using Snow Leopard. Gracias in advance!

From a recent PC Mag review:

The LifeCam Cinema works with AIM, Windows Live, Yahoo Messenger, and Skype. It requires a relatively new Windows computer: any XP, Vista, or 7 PC with an Intel dual-core processor running at 1.6 GHz or higher, plus 1GB of RAM, 1.5GB of free drive space, and a free USB 2.0 port; Microsoft recommends a 3 GHz dual-core chip and 2GB of RAM for optimum performance. While these are commonplace specs these days, users of older machines may want to go with the Logitech Webcam C600, which has much less stringent requirements and slightly better video quality. The LifeCam Cinema doesn't work with Macs, and specifically requires Internet Explorer 6, 7, or 8 for some Internet-chat features.

Note the sentence in Bold. If possible, return it for a refund.

Regards.

Thanks a lot. I appreciate the response. The guy at the store knew I had a Mac but must not have known that the cam doesn't work with a Mac. Going back tomorrow.
