Hi Guys,
I am new to this forum and in need of some advice on where to get parts for my Powerbook G4. I am having issues with the power adapter. I guess I need a new one. The battery is also dead with 367 cycles on it.

Part numbers: A1148 - Battery, A1021 - adapter.

I tried searching and buying directly from apple store is very expensive compared to other online sites. I am not comfortable buying from unknown online sites. I want OEM Genuine battery and adapter.

Any online stores you guys would recommend? Thanks in advance.

your best bet is ebay. I got like 5 parts for my old powerbook (topcase, keyboard, ram cover, ram, and battery). While most of it is taken off of older machines, you can get some nice stuff for a whole lot cheaper than retail sites.

It takes a while to find deals on some stuff tho so be patient, and make sure you know the exact model you are buying stuff for

good luck
