Just got harddrive replaced. no ILife though???

my hard drive failed and i just got it replaced under warranty, but this time it didn't come with garageband, imovie or iphoto though. do i have to buy these now? i had them for free before...

It sounds like the store that replaced the hard drive for you only installed Mac OS without installing your iLife software. They probably assumed you would do it yourself.

If you still have your original DVDs discs that came with your computer then you should two DVDs. One is your Mac OS X disc while the other is your Application disc. Just put the Application disc in and install iLife.

If you have lost those discs then you will have to buy iLife again if you want it.

Do you have the DVD's that came with your Mac? If so you can reinstall iLife from there. I forget which DVD. Someone else will come along and let you know. Might be in Optional Installs or on the 2nd DVD.
