Brand new MacBook charger won't work..

My macbook charger (only two years old, but pretty beat) recently died, so I ordered a new one.. It worked for all of one hour and now it is completely dead. My friend's chargers work just fine.. Is it possible that I just ordered a bad charger or could it be my computer?

Welcome to the Forum. If your charger will not charge your friends computer then i would be asking for a replacement unit. Sounds like you got a dud.

In addition to what Collin advised, do not buy an inexpensive charger from the internet or ebay. Most of them that are available are cheaply made imitations that can possibly do harm to your machine.

Order the charger from either Apple or an authorized Apple reseller and\or parts distributor.
