My keyboard types greek. See the title of the message.
Sometimes the keyboard is fine (like now) and su∂d´nly it switches to Greek. If I keep the function (fn) key down, I can manage to type regular English. Also, my scroller on my mouse doesn't work, the Enter key and the shortcuts (apple key _ s for example) don't work either. What is this due to? How can I fix this? Please help. |

Need LOTS more info. First off, what model of Mac Notebook is this? What operating system is it running? Any event leading up to this issue? Have you tried any troubleshooting steps to date? Install any new software or hardware?
The more information you can provide, the easier it is to troubleshoot. Right now, we don't have much to go on. Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics! |

Some things to check:
System Preferences => Universal Access => Keyboard tab. Make sure it's set as follows: ![]() In particular, you want to make sure that 'Sticky Keys' is turned off. Then, go into System Preferences => Keyboard => Keyboard tab. Click the "Modifier Keys" button and click "Restore defaults": ![]() Then, click the Keyboard Shortcuts tab and for each of the categories listed in the left window pane, click the 'Restore Defaults' button: ![]() Then go into System Preferences => Language & Text => Language tab Make sure that the languages are set in the order you prefer them (assuming English is your native language, make sure it's at the top). Then, go into the Text tab and click Restore Defaults: ![]() Then, go into Input Sources tab and make sure the correct keyboard is selected: ![]() That should pretty much put you at defaults from a settings perspective for the keyboard. If that doesn't work, we'll need to go a bit deeper. Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills.
