Hi All,
My MacBook does not power on. When the power button is pressed the screen remains black while the sleep light stays on. No matter what I do it will not power on. These are the details. early 2008 white macbook c2d tried replacing ram, battery HD, and ac adapter. zapped pram and reset smc. Also, another thread "MacBook Logic Board Failure?" by Iron Eagle, seems to mirror the same problem I have but has no solution. I have posted a reply but the thread is old. Thats why I've started a new one. Has any one seen this problem? Do you think I need a new logic board? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much! |

I had this problem back in 2007 when I first got my hands on my Macbook. I took my unit to the Apple store and they told me that it was a logic board issue. I was under warranty at that time, and I got it changed for free.
You should bring it to the Apple store for them to check it out. |
