I was talking to a friend through Ventrillo as I always do, using the headset that came with my iPhone (white ear buds, has output on it as well).

Partway through, she said she was getting feedback of sorts, so I relogged vent and she couldn't hear me. I restarted my computer, same thing.

I went into my sound settings and tested a few things, if I unplug my headphones and try to default to my speakers/built in mic, she can't hear me but I can hear her.

I see the output bar go up and down when I talk internally, I checked if I muted myself, she didn't mute me, etc.

Is it possible my sound card went out to a degree where I can still hear incomming sound, but my output isn't?

Running out of ideas and ways to change settings to fix it. Wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary, just normal talking to each other. No button mashing, random combination of keys to accidently mute myself, etc.

Any ideas?
QUOTE Thanks
