I recently posted that when I try to use the Software Restore cds of Mac OS 8.6 on my Ibook Clamshell the computer shuts off automatically. Well I noticed when it starts to begin to boot into the cd that the battery in the top right hand corner has an X on it and I read some where that that meant the battery wasnt being reconized and to do this.
" I booted into Open Firmware and typed "reset-nvram", followed by "reset-all". How do I go about doing this? Where is Open Firmware? Thanks. |
