Hi

My iMac needs replacing and I intend buying a used MacBook off eBay.

My primary use is to:
1) stream realtime stock information and TV programmes on the internet, and
2) play dvds

What processor speed am I likely to need?

Do you have any other helpful tips?

Any of the intel based macbooks would work for you... BUT i wouldn't buy one off ebay... if you want used, then try craigslist first, that way you can try the computer out and make sure it is really working before you buy it. Ebay is very risky on something so expensive.
