I have a MacBook Air that I am selling and would like to remove certain documents and photos without having to do a fresh install of the OS system. Any suggestions? New to the Apple world, thank you.

You could go into Sys Pefs > Accounts and click the + to add a new User. Make sure it is an Admin User then log into that user and then delete the old user which will get rid of your old User data but not the network settings. Not tried it on a MBA but it should work.
