Hey guys,

I'm looking to buy a MacBook Pro 13' with the next month or so.

Now here's the question, do I buy the 2009 model and save myself about £100 or do I spend more and buy the 2010 model. Obviously I know the 2010 model has a 250GB HD, and more RAM.

I'm just going to be using it for, iTunes, Internet/Email, Photography/Editing Photo's, Recording DJ mixes and Word Processing.

I'm wondering whether the its worth me spending the extra £100?

Any advice is welcome.

I bought the 13 inch MBP (2009) and I think its perfect. The question is...can you get by on the smaller HDD? You can always add more RAM at a cheaper value. My MBP already came with a stock 4gb anyways, which should be enough for what you want to do.

Here is a tip, buy refurbished! Its just as good and I got an instant $200 off!

i have the late '09 model with 2.53GHz and 4GB of ram and 320GB HDD.. i dont see the new 2.66 being much faster than what i bought in November. i would say save you money get the '09 and spend the rest on something else you may want to get.

i am saving my money for the new iPhone.

i just called apple to see if the battery was the same connection as the 09 model and the lady said it was all new.. i would have paid $150 or whatever it is for 3 more hour batt life. but i dont wanna pay $1500 for it...lol
