Hello all, I am new to the MacForum and wondered if anyone can help.

I saw someone a while back with a Silicone Skin that covered their Macbook.

I have the Standard White 13.3 and wondered if anyone knew of anywhere I could get one as I don't like the look of the Speck ones.

Or... I have also seen a Carbon Fiber one but can only find this for the silver Macbook (i'm guessing the Pro)

Any help would be great.

Teddy

Silicone as in the bendy stuff Marware iPod cases are made out of? I could be wrong, but I think you're out of luck if that's what you're looking for.

If you mean like the Speck cases, but not a Speck one, I think inCase makes some. I had one on my old MB, and it wasn't really all that great. I have a Speck case on my MBP now, and it's far better than the inCase was. Just a suggestion...

Just a stupid kid with a computer, so take my advice with a grain of salt if that makes a difference to you.

Yep that was the stuff I was looking for but after trawling the web yesterday it seems there aren't any.

I guess I will have to go with the Speck Case.

Thanks for getting back to me.

Regards

I have the Satin Speck for my MacbookPro and I really like it. Good fit. Just have to take it off every now and then and remove dust - but it is better than getting the aluminum all scratched up.

I have been considering a skin myself. Honestly though, the aluminum on the Pros is very hard to scratch. Its tuff stuff
