When I am done using my Macbook, I close it.

When I open it, if there is a CD or DVD in the drive, everything freezes for a minute so that the Superdrive can initialize.

It's extremely annoying, and I hoping there is a way to stop it from doing this other than not having a CD or DVD in the drive, because taking it out, and putting it in is extremely annoying, and time consuming.
QUOTE Thanks
