Your MBP is possibly a bit warped on the bottom case. It happens sometimes because of heat. (operating the machine on a rough surface like a carpet)
The "shims" bit is a suggestion to adding something to the bottom of the case like thin rubber self sticking tabs. Those would help to offset the unbalance. You can purchase thin rubber or felt self sticking tabs at a local hardware store or at Lowes, Home Depot, etc. Regards. |
