    macbook factory settings
    when i erase'd my macintosh HD to remove all files it still says there was 300 or so mgb in use and 2 items. Is this normal or is there still something that hasnt been deleted from the HD.

    i used snow leopard cd, went into disk utilities, went erase HD, and when i did erase the HD it said how much space was being used which was around 300Mgb

    Back to my old 2.2GHz C2D MB after selling my MBP and wondering what my next Mac will be :)
    It is normal.... I don't remember why, but I believe it has to do with it being formatted and recognizable!
    I hope someone comes along and explains it again and refreshes my memory
