I noticed my fans were a bit louder lately so I downloaded Fan Control to see whats up. What I found was this

Left Fan: 2000 RPM

This is because your MBP only has one fan

Do all MBP's have only one fan? Mine's a 13".

I noticed the fan(s) have been a little louder since I upgraded my Hard Drive to a Seagate 500GB.

The fans are temperature controlled it would seem the Seagate is probably generating more heat than the previous HDD and the fans are compensating for it probably very little you can do about it.

I think I was just torturing myself. I have now come to the conclusion that the fans are just as loud as before. Just shows how paranoid I am about my new MBP though
QUOTE Thanks
