paper clip in disk drive?

My 2 year old stuck a paper clip into my disk drive on my macbook! Any ideas on how to get it out?

Try turning the machine on its side and see if you can shake it out. But do it gently as it could easily become lodged inside. In the meantime, do not turn the MacBook on. Also, remove the battery before digging around.

I tried shaking it to get it out and nothing, any other ideas?

You may wind up having to disassemble the machine to get it out. I'm assuming you can't see it but can hear it rattling around inside?
