my tv doesnt have an s-video output to hook my mac up to, but my comcast digital cable box does.....is there a way to hook my s-video to the cable box, and display that on the tv?

is the s-video port an in or out on the cable box? im guessing its s-video out if this is the case then no you cant.

I have noticed on all new equipment that S-video is being phased out and the inferior
composite video is kept strange but with everything going to Display Port and HDMI
it will not be long before component video will be history.
