Macbook Battery Question

I have a unibody macbook 13". I bought it around the end of 2008.I just found out that the battery of current macbooks of same kind lasts for 7 hours. i was wondering if this battery works on my laptop. Any information will be highly appriciated.

i have no idea. but just curious to know if your battery is removable?
if so then i would be positive it isn't compatible. if it isn't i have no idea but it would be good to know..

No, its not swappable. New/different design.

I can certainly understand that macbook pro battery wont work on macbook regular but how about the battery of new macbook regulars?

Mac Specs: Back to my old 2.2GHz C2D MB after selling my MBP and wondering what my next Mac will be :)

6string is offline
The new Macbook battery is built in, different in build and design, so it's a no go!
