MBP Compatible Hard Drive

Im looking for a replacement hard drive for my new 13" MBP 2.26Ghz Dc. I only have the 160G stock hard drive right now and I was hoping this one would be compatible for an exchange.

I went from the stock 320GB to the 7200 rpm to the 500 GB 7200 rpm! Nothing but luck from these folks. I bought a bunch of stuff from these folks!

Those prices are great but unfortunately that store isn't an option for me because I live in Canada. I was simply looking for confirmation that the drive I was planning on buying will work properly in my MBP.

Based on a quick bit of Googling, yes I believe it will work. As I recall, that's a 12.5mm drive, so it's going to be tight (most drives are 9.5mm high), but anecdotal comments seem to indicate it will be OK.

Buy it from a Korean retail site or setup an account with NewEgg and arrange for international shipping.

Decided on a different HDD (500GB Seagate for $89 CAN) just incase anyone cares anymore.

It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!
