Macbook Pro Early 2008 Will not boot after sleep

I apologize in advance if this has been covered, I was unable to find a thread with the problem I was having.


My wife's Early 2008 Macbook Pro stopped working yesterday. The system went into standby or sleep mode after being idle. She went to wake the system, however, no dice. They unit was completely off, no light dimming or anything. She went to turn it on, the LED Light comes on, you hear the DVD drive turn on... and than you hear the Hard Drive shut off, and LED goes dark as well.
